Dear Students:

This is an exciting time, and I personally know the importance of choosing the right law school. I must share that Carolina Law is not just a law school or a community; Carolina Law is a family and a place I love dearly.

In addition to more than 50 amazing student organizations, there are several intangible qualities that make the Carolina Law experience one of a kind. Our professors are scholars, mentors and advocates for justice. Their enthusiasm and zest for teaching and scholarship make the learning environment at Carolina Law not only exciting and engaging, but also challenging and rewarding. The student population is equally as passionate as the faculty, as well as exceedingly intelligent and diverse.

When you attend Carolina Law, you become part of the Carolina Law family and experience our welcoming and supportive atmosphere. You will forge bonds that last a lifetime, get the opportunity to know your professors personally, give back to the community, and get hands on legal experience through our clinics, externships and nationally recognized student-run pro bono program.

I encourage you to visit Chapel Hill and meet some members of the faculty and student body. I assure you our law school will make a lasting impression on you.

If you have any questions about our school or student life at Chapel Hill, please do not hesitate to email me at asante@live.unc.edu.
