We invite you and your family to save the date for Carolina Law's 30th Annual Family Day on Saturday, September 10. Register now!

The program will include:

  • Welcome and Remarks. From the dean of the law school, Martin Brinkley '92.
  • Model Class. A faculty member will conduct a model class. The professor will use actual cases similar to those students read for class.
  • An Introduction to Career Development and Student Services. Learn more about careers possible with a law degree and the unique challenges of law school.
  • Student Panel. Hear students’ perspectives from members of the Classes of 2017 and 2018.
  • Information about Activities. Learn about extra-curricular and co-curricular opportunities.
  • N.C. Traditional Barbecue Buffet Lunch. (Vegetarian options available.)

Family and friends play a crucial role in helping law students during the demanding three years of law school. We understand that when a student commits to studying the law at UNC, significant commitments are also being made by family and friends. We believe the more Carolina Law family members understand about the rigorous professional life of law students, the more they will be able to help their loved ones succeed while at law school. We hope that your friends and family will join us.

Students, please feel free to share this information with anyone who may be interested in attending. We look forward to meeting your friends and family in Chapel Hill on September 10.
