Clinical Programs Celebrate 35 Years of Training Students and Assisting Clients

Clinical Programs Community Education Presentation

On November 9, 2015, students from the Youth Justice Clinic, Civil Legal Assistance Clinic, Immigration Clinic, and Domestic Violence Clinic joined together to present a four hour educational program for the Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools Services Staff.

Spring Semester All-Clinic Rounds Session

On March 4, 2015, UNC Clinical Programs held its fourth All-Clinic Rounds session, during which students and faculty from all of our clinics gathered to discuss their current cases.

The program was moderated by Professor Barbara Fedders of the Youth Justice Clinic, and students from four of our clinics presented cases.

Prof. Beth Posner Teaches Two-Day Child Custody & Domestic Violence Program for ABA

In April, 2014, Professor Beth Posner conducted a two-day CLE (continuing legal education program) on "Litigation Training: Representing Victims of Domestic Violence in Custody Cases." This interactive program provided training in North Carolina custody and domestic violence law as well as litigation skills for practicing attorneys, enabling them to more effectively, ethically, and holistically represent victims of domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault.
