Practising Law Institute (PLI), a prolific provider of Continuing Legal Education materials, has been removed from the Westlaw databases (Westlaw Next & Westlaw Classic). While LexisNexis & LexisNexis Academic still have some PLI materials, they no longer include recent PLI treatises. Law students and faculty should instead access PLI publications on Bloomberg Law, using their individual passwords. Patrons should also check the library's online catalog for recent print PLI titles.

Eligible faculty and students can obtain a Bloomberg password by contacting reference librarian Tim Gallina. On Bloomberg’s home page, look for Practising Law Institute (PLI) Treatises under “Secondary Sources.” For further guidance contact the law library reference desk at 919-962-1194.
