Considering hanging your own shingle? Or want to save money for your future employer and stand out as an exceptional new hire? Or simply want to strengthen your research skills? The Law Librarians are here to help! The Law Library would like to invite UNC Law students to participate in the Prep for Practice: Cost-Efficient Research Workshop Series for Spring 2022. Each workshop will focus on the cost-efficient research skills that law students will need to use when they begin working at a firm, court, government agency, or elsewhere.

Space is limited in each workshop, so UNC Law students should sign up early using this Google form to get a spot!

Cost-Efficient Research: Fastcase

All members of the North Carolina Bar Association have free, unlimited access to Fastcase, but how many have actually used it? Get ahead of the curve and learn more about Fastcase and how to use it for cost-efficient legal research.

Experience a crash course on free government resources! The government has made an incredible amount of information available if you know where to find it. Get ready for some tips and tricks on how to navigate the extensive world of free online government resources.
