Caroline Barrineau

My name is Caroline Barrineau, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia. Originally from Charlotte, I have returned to North Carolina where I am a rising 2L at the UNC School of Law. As an undergraduate student, I volunteered with Oasis Catòlico Santa Rafaela, an organization dedicated to the enrichment of the Spanish Immigrant community and its children in particular. It was this experience that drew me to the UNC Center on Poverty, Work, and Opportunity, where I look forward to spending my time researching Charlotte and children’s poverty in hopes of making a positive impact on our community, and the State of North Carolina as a whole.
