Winter Break 2014 Cherokee Pro Bono: Day 3 Healthcare Clinic with Pisgah Legal Services

On Day 3, we enjoyed breakfast at our hotel and proceeded to Pisgah Legal Services in downtown Asheville for our healthcare enrollment clinic. Before leaving Chapel Hill, all members of our group completed a 20 hour training program to become certified healthcare Navigators. Students also completed approximately 20 hours of training to become certified Healthcare Navigators.

I kept waiting for that other shoe to drop and to start feeling like 1L year was the worst thing to ever happen to me—but that feeling never came.
